I have been practicing yoga since November of 2016. After a doctors visit and recommendations by my family practitioner I became passionate about living a healthier lifestyle. I didn't know exactly what that meant. Never having an active lifestyle as a child or young adult I found it very challenging to be active. I tried many forms of workouts and different gyms, until I tried yoga. Living a more active lifestyle as well as making healthier choices I was able to loose 50lbs. On 2017 I promised myself to have a daily practice. I love that yoga gave me the freedom to move and explore. It taught me to have compassion for myself. Yoga is part of my selfcare regimen to be fully present for my family. Mother of 3 and I love to have yoga practices with my children. I enjoy teaching Therapeutic and adaptive yoga as well as gentle movements. I believe yoga is for every body every asana can be modified by using props to support the body. Completed my 200 hr RYT yoga teacher training in 2018 with MelMarie and I am continuing my 300hr adaptive Therapeutic yoga training with MelMarie. By sharing my practice with others I hope to inspire movement, to spark curiosity, to explore their body and uncover their potential to feel good from within.
