Taking the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements of humans, yoga therapy strives to balance the whole being. Private instruction empowers the individual to learn tools that will assist in facilitating the body's innate ability to heal, revive, and take control of one's own health. 


What is Yoga Therapy

Stepping out of traditional medicine, Yoga Therapy strives to balance the whole being by treating the cause of imbalance or illness and utilizing mindful movement, breath work, body posture, and life style choice to heal mind, body, and spirit. Yoga Therapy serves on the health care continuum through education, prevention, recovery, and maintenance while promoting health to prevent and reverse illness using holistic interventions to fit personal needs and achieve wellness goals. 75% of all health care expenses go towards illnesses that can be prevented. Yoga Therapy enhances self awareness and empowers the patient to reclaim their power in creating sustainable long term health and wellness.

Many of my students find that wellness begins to emulate throughout their lives when utilizing the therapeutic application of yoga. Yoga Therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of the patient shifting from the traditional disease focused medical practice to a more patient-centered approach. Test postures can reveal imbalances throughout the physical body, which are often manifested from an psycho-emotional imbalance. Yoga Therapy addresses the energetic, mental, and lifestyle factors that influence health, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Evidence based research is consistently validating the profound healing benefits yoga poses and practice has on developing functional movement patterns, rewiring the brain, inducing healthy aging, creating structural stability, emotional resilience, self awareness, and many more. 

Private Instruction 



Private instruction allows the client to receive personal, individualized attention that he or she would not receive in a community yoga class. Working in small groups or one on one creates the opportunity to receive a uniquely tailored class designed to suit the yoga experience you desire. I offer a mix of class styles from therapeutic classes that will improve one’s wellness in their daily life addressing flexibility, strengthening, and balance or classes for those who desire a more vigorous practice to enhance their mind body workout. Clients will begin to reap the physical benefits as well as learning sustainable, holistic techniques to flourish in his or her life.


Private Sessions are ideal for you if:

Need a more therapeutic approach to support recovery and healing.
Want to focus on specific areas of the yoga practice.
Are brand new to yoga.
Would like other holistic modalities infused into your class (reiki, ayurveda, consulting, etc.)
Need to learn modifications to prepare and support themselves in group classes.
Have a busy schedule and need to set their own time for class.

Client Mentorship


Merging the somatic aspects of yoga with the cognitive element of mentoring generates a holistic and influential experience. 

This is for those who are looking to address stress management and wellness through the yoga practice and one-on-one mentoring. These sessions focus on both the physical practice of yoga  and lifestyle enhancement coaching. This includes but is not limited to yoga asana, meditation, yoga nidra, breath work, mindfulness, Ayurvedic practices, Chakra Therapy, energy medicine, stress management, holistic consulting, and self care. 

Topics addressed include: 

Ways to enrich your personal yoga practice.
Living on purpose through tools to create a life by design rather than living by default.
Learning the art of self care.
Create relief, clarity, and hope.
Pinpointing and resolving thought forms that inhibit abundance and wellness.

Deepen your meditation and mindfulness practices to enhance presence.

Release habits of perfectionism and move into connection.
